Yum Yum Yummy. If you are in the Shippensburg area a you haven’t been to Soul Smoked BBQ you owe it to yourself and make the stop. As a matter of fact we live 160 miles away and I’d still tell you that it’s worth the trip TJ and Megan are super friendly and the Food Ohhh the food!!!! Fall off the bone delicious ribs, cheesy potatoes, smoked green beans, smoked baked beans and of course. To die for hot cornbread. When I seen the whole kernels in the cornbread I knew it was the real deal. Treat yourself to this delightful place. You will not be disappointed Thanks you guys

The food is absolutely heaven. My absolute favorite side dish from here would be the smoked cheesy potatoes. My fiance is obsessed with their ribs. They are so perfectly cooked and still so juicy and flavorful. I absolutely love their food and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. The smoked Mac and cheese is another side dish that I absolutely love.

First time here, and everything was delicious. I had the bbq ribs special with macaroni and cheese and green beans. And a piece of cornbread. The food was hot and fresh and well seasoned. Very reasonable prices. Takeout only. Friendly staff.

Ran in to try something new for takeout and was so glad I did l- we will definitely be back! This small location holds a big surprise for our area- when I walked in for a moment and I smelled the food bbq smells I forgot where I was- sometimes traveling a little further south I’d smell this kind of food, an instant transporting of time and space. The menu is easy to read, the small location is clean and there are some very comfortable chairs to sit in cool air conditioning If you didn’t order ahead-but be forewarned, the scents that meet you at the door will make it hard to choose if you are stopping for a quick lunch bite- I wanted to order more than one!

Went here today for the first time because we were craving BBQ. Had the smoked meatballs and brisket. Both absolutely fantastic. Best brisket and meatballs we’ve ever had. The sides are all delicious as well. We will definitely come here often! So glad we stumbled upon this place.

Absolutely to-die-for delicious ribs! So tender the meat practically falls off the bone. Love the BBQ sauce already on the ribs; slightly sweet with tons of smoky flavor. We also got the pulled pork which is so juicy and flavorful as a sandwich, or just alone with some Cole slaw & potato salad. Very tender and shredded perfectly. And the potato salad…my favorite part of the completely delicious meal! It’s obvious the potato salad is made from scratch: Big tender chunks of red potatoes slathered in a mustard-type mayo mixture with tons of spices that is so delicious I can’t stop eating it! We’ve stopped by before where they were nearly out of everything; not surprised with BBQ this good! The owner told us to call ahead the day before if we want anything particular. That’s the best way to make sure it won’t be gone in a flash!

Tried this spot out mid-August 2024. Owner was knowledgeable and helpful answering my questions. They smoke using hickory wood. Portions were good for the price. Mac & cheese was fantastic, which is rare. Meatballs were great, but too sweet IMO; sauce covers the smoke flavor. Cheese potatoes were a hit as well. Overall I'm satisfied and happy, and recommend to anyone.

I reached out to Soul smoked about their interest in catering a yearly event for us, after our past caterer didn't respond back to us within a timely manner. Soul Smoked responded right away, and followed up every single time he said he would. The food speaks VOLUMES on his dedication to providing great food & service. I have no regrets on switching our catering company, and hope to be partners for years to come! We had chicken, brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese, green beans, smoked beans & coleslaw and every single item was cooked/seasoned to perfection. Not to mention, this was the first in 5 years that we received raving reviews on the food we had - You HAVE to go try their food!!
